EXHIBITIONS - URBAN VOICES

Reza Visual Academy has collaborated with numerous partners over the world in order to organize many exhibitions under the topic « Urban Voices ». The photos taken by the children in sensitive urban areas invite the spectators to deeply discover their lives, as well as think about the value of photography as a universal language brought by Reza Visual Academy.

Reza & BienalSur

BienalSur is the biggest Contemporary Art Biennale that ever took place in South America. In the framework of this project, an exhibition of the children’s photographs alongside the workshop « Urban Voices » of Reza Visual Academy was showcased at the heart of the Argentine capital, from September to December 2017 in Plaza San Martin.

Phot'Aubrac 2017

Following the photography workshop for orphans and IDPs children in Bamako, Mali, the children’s photos were exhibited in January 2017, at the French Institute of Bamako, in the framework of « Equations Nomades » project partnered with UNESCO Bamako.

Ma Terre, Ma Famille

During 6 months of photography workshop with Reza in 2013, the children in the “forbidden zones” Reynerie, Mirail and Bellefontaine in Toulouse were trained to master the photographic tool as an instrument of expression and claim for a world more solidarity.  In the framework of « Month of the Photo » in Toulouse, an exhibition on the theme « Ma terre, ma famille » (My world, my family) displayed 60 best photographs taken by 38 students of Reza Visual Academy’s workshop, alongside with an award ceremony to 7 excellent students, selected by an international jury of image professionals.
